 Chapter 12 – Sacred Land

As always, i woke up early (3:49 hours), i stayed in bed “surfing” the Internet, checking my personal blog, social networks, messages, map with the location of tourist attractions and then I only got up to prepare coffee in the morning around 7:30 am. Now in the morning I intend to go back to the supermarket to buy things i miss yesterday i also want to try once again to contact the driver who took me to the gorge waterfalls complex to see if we can arrange a trip to the Shangrilá complex, a preservation area with huge rocks, waterfalls and cave paintings still preserved! Centuries ago it was an area inhabited by Indians and considered sacred land. I bought what was missong and again tried to contact the person who previously transported me, after a few unsuccessful attempts i understood that he must be busy or not interested in helping at that time. I went to the little shops (on the outskirts of the central square) that sell handicrafts, stones, crystals and various utensils made with quartzite, an abundant stone in the area, but I didn't feel like purchasing anything. i met Nelson again ● he mentioned something about an invitation he gave me to go on a trail, to which i replied that i was afraid that due to my physical exhaustion and lack of habit, it would put another adverse situation on the group,  in São Thomé there are slopes and huge slopes and a simple 1.5km route (to the gorge complex) showed me that there is more beyond the distance to consider: the fact of being 1.5km above sea level, the steep ascents and descents and the access to the place you will enjoy, using the gorge complex as an example, there is a steep staircase as well as ramps to reach the waterfalls. It was a quick conversation as he was going to work and I think he understood my explanation, which really wasn't a lack of interest but respect for a group that has experience in what they do. I returned to the apartment, put water, food, towel and clothes in my backpack and returned to the square to plan my trip to Shangrilá complex. The place is a little far from the city center (approximately 1 hour by car) with a dirt road with holes and rocks. The price requested was still high but as it would be transport in a regular car (I decided to take the risk as it hadn't rained there for a while) the price was a little lower than that charged by guides with 4x4 vehicles. It was a little after 10 am when we started the trip, the driver who was driving seemed to be very young (less than 30 years old), there is a short part of the way on a highway (paved) but most of the journey is on a clay road with potholes and stones to overcome and then the driver explained to me those reasons why he couldn't charge a lower price, all that adverse road condition caused damage to the car which needed repairs in a much shorter time than if it were driving on a conventional road. Due to the rush conduction , experience driving on adverse conditions  or both , in less than 1 hour we were at a certain point on a mud road (there had already been a vehicle stopped) which would be our stopping point towards the Shangrilá complex, also called the Maytréia valley (avatar of the new era).

From that point onwards there was a small trail (about 100 meters) in the middle of the lush vegetation where it is necessary to walk to the final destination.

The path to the Shangrilá Complex involves crossing this beautiful stream, probably with waters coming from there

Arrival at the Shangrilá Complex, the very well preserved environment made the beauty of the place invade the soul

Arriving at the place (which I thought was fantastic) the driver took me straight to a rock that still had the cave paintings (thousands of years old) preserved and left me free to go wherever I wanted with a return interval of about 1 hour.

Rock with cave paintings

Detail of some cave paintings present on the rock (photograph without filters)

When I started exploring the place, a few meters after the rock with cave paintings, I saw a small waterfall on a flat base and that place made me “ enchanted “, I explored and took photos of the surroundings but soon returned to the waterfall envisioning a bath in that exclusive jacuzzi.

Small waterfall where I positioned myself receiving all that energy on my back and shoulders (it reminded me of the lovers' well in the gorge complex)

TThe weather was instable with moments of sun and clouds and the water, as is usual for the place, was freezing, but once I had the courage to go, I placed myself right under the small waterfall  (picture above) and there I enjoyed a fantastic hydromassage on my back and shoulders. After this “natural hydromassage”, I felt a sense of peace and lightness. (at a much lower intensity than I felt  on the throat complex) and that was the only moment when  I felt some change from an energetic point of view. I went to another nearby waterfall and placed myself under the flow, but the bottom  which I sat was full of algae and moss beside this eventually on the water flow I could see algae passing by, so I spent very little time there, returning. to the previous waterfall, whose water was clear and limpid as a crystal and the flat rock wich i sat was also clean (perhaps due to a greater volume of water, greater height of the fall or both) I was immersed in the peace and beauty of the place receiving all that water in my body until the the driver called me due to scheduling issues.

I even took some photos before we left that sacred land of unique beauty, literally with my soul cleansed. In the Shangrilá complex, huge caves and rocks with different heights invite exploration. I would really wanted to stay there going up, down, taking photos until the end of the day even without lunch. But it was after 12:30 pm and my driver was worried about going because we still had all the time on the road to get back (approximately 1 hour). It's worth highlighting that the place (perhaps because it's far from the city center) is very well preserved, during my brief stay, I didn't even see a cigarette butt thrown on the ground, in an informal conversation I highlighted this characteristic of the place to my driver and he immediately replied that the tourist who looks for that place is “different”. I think it's important to leave my story here that if you go to the place without a guide, it is prudent not to stray too far from the mud roads where you will inevitably have to leave the vehicle to continue on foot, obviously (in my opinion) the best thing is to be with an experienced guide at your side because in that completely preserved place with abundant vegetation, it is very easy to get lost, as happened to me on the way back to the car, I let my driver go ahead as I was still taking photos of the place and so, we distanced ourselves about 50 meters and it was enough to spend about 5 minutes lost in the middle of the vegetation and Only after hearing the sound of him calling , I  could have a reference about which direction should take. For all the peace and quiet that the place “exudes” in addition to its immaculate natural beauty, it made me want to go back, perhaps early in the morning with plenty of time to enjoy and explore. I said goodbye with several photos, having my body and soul washed by the unique purity of the waters of the Shangrilá complex. Upon arriving at the apartment, my sequence of tasks was: washing clothes, shower, lunch and selecting photos.

When I was resting, I considered having dinner a little later and going to the croix (cruzeiro) early in the evening to carry out one more of my observations. At around 8 pm I was on the croix (cruzeiro), in the place where I used to sit on the rock, alone, but there was some difficulty in observing the starry sky in a very wide way due to the cloudiness present.

During the time I was there, I was able to witness 4 phenomena worth mentioning: as soon as I arrived and settled down, I saw a blue light to my right, about 2 meters high, with a vertical shape, similar to a person and very quickly disappeared (it lasted approximately 3 seconds) , shortly after I saw an object with a whitish light (similar to a star) descend from the sky at great speed and disappear shortly before reaching an area a little further away on the left with native forest. The hypothesis of it being a meteor or space debris (I thought about it when I started seeing the object) was the first thought on my mind but it was different as it did not have a “trail”, it disappeared very close to the ground and there was no noise of any kind and it remained circular in shape. The third unusual situation is even more difficult to understand and explain, it occurred shortly after the visualization reported above, I looked at my horizon and saw a kind of fog with a red color, with a lateral coverage of approximately 1km with an extension of the edge of the rock a little further ahead of where I was, passing through the gorge and going to the mountains next to me, at least about 5km , this situation was also brief, it remained for about 10 seconds and disappeared abruptly and the last situation, a common occurrence there , happened when I was already standing and preparing to leave the place after sitting for almost two hours, it was a meteorite or space debris burning during atmospheric re-entry that followed a classic pattern with a diagonal path, luminous trail and gradual loss of light .

I returned to the apartment impacted by the situation of the red mist seen and I didn't even think about what to do the next day, after shower and dinner, I went to sleep imagining logical hypotheses and without finding one that “fit” the situation I was experiencing,  without any plans for tomorrow , lets see what will happen when I wake up !

Shangrilá

Doors open to allow the entry of convergence vectors whose insistence was not in vain

Pristine beauty and rusticity acclaim the precision of the fittings that know how to defy imposed gravitations

Red earth, yellow rocks move slowly under the guidance of icy waters that snakes around my horizon

Violet tones adorn the course of everything that is hermetic and drinkable, therefore also ephemeral

What emerges from that land is enveloped by a greater consciousness that only perishes when the purpose of ending cycles takes place

That environment subverts physics and time  does not exist, but it is affected from a distance by golden forces generated there by a centrifuge process to correct distortions

Meeting point of worlds, elevators in exhaustive transfers, capillarity permeable to everything that is in evolution

Interventions, initiations, gatherings, day and night under the watchful eyes of immaculate and exuberant nature that serves as a frame for what is perfect
