Chapter 11 - Embracing the sun on the cruise

Today I woke up around 2 am and as usual I went to the window to check the sky, it was full of clouds, I went back to bed and forced myself to relax and dozed off, waking up again hours later wanting to go to the bathroom (around 5 am). I started preparing breakfast and the sky continued to be intensely cloudy, the wind didn't seem strong (no noise from the window) but the temperature was low between 10 and 12°C that early in the morning, my attention turned to household tasks such as washing clothes, store previously washed and dried clothes , preparing lunch and food to last more than one day was also one of my tasks because  there was a possibility of spending the day out on a trip, and i don't want to think about food when I returned because probably i will be physically wasted.

I tried to negotiate a transfer to the Shangrilá complex, an area considered sacred by the Indians who inhabited the region hundreds of years ago and which has attractions such as: cave paintings, waterfalls and trails, it seemed like the perfect place for physical and non-physical experiences. The initial problem was the price charged, as the place is far from the city and has mud, holes and stones on the access road, normally access is via vehicles with 4x4 traction and these vehicles usually do not transport a single person and the price charged divided between occupants. Being alone, I would have to pay the full amount or with a small decrease, which didn't seem convenient to me despite the price justification being acceptable: journey of approximately one hour, road with mud, stones and holes that obviously caused extra wear and tear on the vehicles.        Even with all the information received, no negotiations were concluded and I decided to wait for a better opportunity or better conditions for the amount charged. In the afternoon I went to the supermarket to buy small things that were missing and upon my return, putting away my purchases, I had a sudden desire to go to the cruise ( touristic spot) and enjoy the sunset. I put on appropriate clothes and went to my favorite point of observation, when I got there I saw a large number of people in the pyramid and also nearby (cruise).

People in the pyramid waiting for the sunset

As is local custom, the sunset took place with applause, howls and enthusiasm, especially from the public present at the pyramid, which due to the proximity was perfectly audible from my position.

I took photos and decided to stay there a little longer, when it got dark I could see 2 asteroids or space junk burning during atmospheric re-entry and something that I thought were satellites as they had a reduced light (comparable to a small star) and they passed on a linear route with no apparent change in speed. The atypicality I actually witnessed happened when I got up (I was sitting on the rock) to return, around 8 pm. I looked down from where I was (a canyon) and saw a kind of mist/fog covering the area, I turned my attention to the sky, just checking if something different was present, quickly returning (no more than 2 seconds) to looking at the location of the mist/fog, I realized that It had increased the coverage by almost twice the area and quickly (seconds) returned to its previous coverage. I decided to repeat the movement of looking at a certain point and returni my attention to the canyon and this time nothing unusual happened. I got off the rock and went to my room trying to find a logical explanation for yet another unusual event I had witnessed.

Centrifugation

Distant lands, sacred waters, preserved shelter from what is banal

Daily life in the background, salty and artisanal yesterday jumps into an automated sweet today with candied fruits

Late afternoon, the trails and streets converge, forces emerge from a truly beautiful pink sky

Ardent applause, vivid howls, attentive ears, serene gestures precede the return of visually still impacted groups

Movement of legs descending, almost unidirectional flow of lanterns heading west seek shelter from a wind that brings cold and haughtiness

In the skies, gifts are still packaged with great care, movements decrease but static is definitely not present

The fog, which arrives dancing, embraces everything that is dark and shows me (privately) what the eyes cannot reach

Open dreams from near and far harmonized by rich nuances of tones whose melody does not require words
