Chapter 3 – At the point After incredible experiences i had yesterday , today my intentions are in order of priority: the São Thomé’s grotto usually called: “a gruta”(the grotto) , another famous tourist spot , a return to the witch’s stone and later a return (at night) to Cruzeiro. Considering that generally the most appropriate time to write is in the morning , today (8/8/23) at 5 am i was already up making breakfast and organizing things to write , my morning departures take place around 10 am . I left around this time towards the São Thomé’s grotto (a gruta) which is nearby, about 25 meters away from the supermarket which is on the other side of the square. I arrived at the grotto , took external photos of the entrance and the plaque with historical information about the grotto and entered. Inside , i saw two chambers , a smaller one on the left probably used for meditation or rituals , it had a narrow entrance that in my opinion only allows entry while crouching or kneel
Chapter 5: Mismatch Today dawned without the intensity of the winds but with a fog that greatly reduced visibility, for example, every day until then I was able to visualize the cruise from my room (approximately 1km) today the visualization was just a fog that despite it was not very dense, it was present even on the streets. Observing from a different perspective, the fog even gives a more beautiful tone to the city as it hides the transmission towers located at the highest points. I went once again, along the path that seemed to be a shortcut and avoided the wear and tear of climbing the steep stairs (mentioned in the previous chapter), during the walk I stopped to give and receive affection to 2 groups of dogs that approached when I was passing by. , each group with 2 dogs of different colors but
Chapter 6 – Atypicalities My day today started well before dawn , it was around 3 am when i woke up , i really wanted to put on a coat and go to my favorite observation point (the crux – o cruzeiro). The logical mind soon tried to stop this impulse with arguments of all kinds , while having breakfast i went to the window and saw a starry , cloudless sky , i also noticed that there was no wind noise and the visible trees were not moving. I immediately thought about the opportunity to have a better thermal comfort. I put on appropriate clothes and set off through the deserted streets of São Thomé. As I got closer to the access to go up , i saw 2 pubs still open with people enjoying themselves with relatively loud music. The climb as always , tiring and when i reached the top and prepared to turn off the “flashlight” mode on my cell phone , i saw that it was precisely 3:44 hours , there was no one on the crux and still panting from the climb , i looked for “my place” which offe
